It's still going to work the exact same method", my exasperated hubby hissed into my ear as I got containers after containers of some 'designer' tissue. Yes, for a graphic designer and author who understands all about the kind of effort one puts into product packaging and branding products, I sure fell for it. I am entitled to fall for great packaging, I have a prevailing right to be human.

However they are so pretty ... the product packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature enthusiast' product packaging, the 'fruity' packaging, the 'woman on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. I got 4 of each style bundles and made a run for the counter with them with my screaming kids and exasperated partner running after me in slow movement. It was certainly a 'die-hard' minute. You understand, when the hero is fleing from a bunch of wild bad males with gatling gun, and they're contending your feet or something ... and there's a surge behind you ... and whatever occurs in ssslllloooowwwww mmmmooooottttttiiiioooonnnnn.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with expensive packaging designs on them. If I didn't like the product packaging designs so much, I would find it comical enough. I am dead serious. I enjoyed the product packaging creates so much, after utilizing up all the tissues in the boxes, I would cut out the designs and put it into my 'needs to keep for referral' clear folder. I don't keep a lot of stuff in there since I am quite selective about the styles that I like, however these product packaging designs made it. They definitely did.

You see, this is the kind of thing that takes place when you put some effort into making your packaging style. Yeah, we all have this in the back of our heads ... "Hey, it's PACKAGING! They're going to THROW the click here PACKAGING away.

This is what I have to tell you, as a graphic designer and consumer. The more effort you take into creating your product packaging, more customers will take a look and stop at your product packaging or what's inside the packaging. Now, does it make sense for me to state now that when they stop and take notice of your product packaging, your possibility of getting them to purchase your product boosts? Exactly.

You see, the role of packaging is to grab the customer's attention. And without an electrifying packaging, customers are going to walk past the loads and stacks of other competitor items ... and yours ... without even knowing you're there! Your item is sitting there on a shelf, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a great product packaging. Once they take an appearance and stop, you've won the first round.

Think about it!

They have the 'nature lover' packaging, the 'fruity' packaging, the 'woman on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with elegant product packaging styles on them. I liked the packaging develops so much, after using up all the tissues in the boxes, I would cut out the styles and place it into my 'should keep for reference' clear folder. I don't keep a lot of things in there because I am quite selective about the designs that I like, but these packaging designs made the cut. The more effort you put into developing your product packaging, more clients will take an appearance and stop at your packaging or what's inside the packaging week.
